When biology meets biography, Dissected is a publication designed to instil how our memories are stored in different parts of the brain, and their roles in shaping us as indivduals.
This publication uses professional phycologist and doctors for this biological information, providing the viewer with an area of education, while I apply the information to my own memories- adding a personal touch. By doing this, the information becomes easier to process, whole also keeping an emotional value, since im sharing my own stories.
To further visualise how the mind disarranges memories, I created models to represent each memory and 3D printed them, for each of the different sections. I then further manipulated them in photoshop, to show how the mind warps memories overtime.
Publication Design, photoshop editing, laser cutting, 3D modelling & printing.
