Moody Mixology is a brand identity targeted at younger adults, who are trying to maintain a social life, while also balancing adulthood. The purpose of Moody is to make events easier, by assigning you cocktails that best fit your social group/ event, so you can focus on more important matters.
The concept works mainly through the website. Where you will find a multiple choice, interactive quiz that assigns you to your perfect cocktail. Once ordered, the consumer will be sent the canned cocktails, a thank you card, intsructions on how to make the drink again for their own pleasure, a graph of the notes within the drink, as well as a packet of stickers.
Despite some elements of the website changing, to fit the aesthetics of whatever drink you might’ve been assigned, Moodys visual identity takes great inspiration from bauhaus and modernist design. This is a stylistic choice because even despite the target audience being young adults, the brand is still selling cocktails, which classify as a charming luxury.
