The Tree of Life Website
Located in Sumatran, Indonesia, lives the Orang Rimba tribe, also known as ‘the people of the jungle.’ Currently, they are fighting a losing battle to protect their homes from deforestation, with over half of their forest already being destroyed.
With this distruction of land follows the loss of their culture. By making a website where you can learn about their culture and how they live.
‘The Tree of life’ is an educational website, created purely to enlighten western media about the current issues that the tribe are facing. by making this experience as engaging as possible for the viewer, we hope to spark empathy in the viewer, in hopes for the issue to be more widely spoken about.
