Zoi Magazine: Conscience and the Screen

To be educated on philosophy and ethics is crucial for the development of ones self, as well as how we percieve the world, and the people who inhabit it.

Despite this education being so important, sometimes the greatest theories are not very accessible, due to it being written in a language that may be hard to comprehend from a learners level. Therefore, to introduce a generation into a deeper level of crititcal thinking, Zoi was created to be both visually stimulating, while applying these theories into real life scenarios that we can all comprehend.

Zoi’s visual identity relies on current design trends, such a thresholds, an grit to try and capture the attention of its target viewer. Furthermore, this visual identity pays homage to its older philosophical books, by keeping a duotone, predominantly darker colour theme, to represent the visuals that come with ‘old’ books.
